Summer has begun

Summer is here , temperature is soaring to 40 c and thereby hot winds have started  blowing in our region making it burdensome to protect plants from the heat.

While summer is making its way spring blooms are withering off every passing day

The last of Amaryllis blooms

Zinnias and balsam are now  blooming

Adeniums are cheering up with summer arrival

Summer has just begin and some of the perennials are giving summer vibes

Blue plumbago, Plumeria, Pentas, Peacock plant

And summer is not possible without bougainvillea blooms

Everyone should pledge to keep a container filled with water to quench the thirst of these critters

                                                                      Sparrow quenching thirst

The cloudy weather brought some relief from the heat

  1. I would love to be able to grow bougainvillea, but our winter temperatures are too low. Some years, I buy myself a small one to enjoy through through summer. Yours is beautiful! Happy Bloom Day!

  5. Lovely blooms, Arun, despite your high temperatures. We have had skirmishes with summer-like temperatures already but, at the moment, it is cool again. However, I can already see summer flowers developing so I do not think it will be long before summer arrives with a plan to stay a while.

  7. Your flowers are so pretty. We've only had the bulbs bloom so far her in Kentucky (tulips, crocus, etc.) The Redbud trees and the Dogwood trees are both blooming now. And they are so pretty!

  9. Ich liebe Bougainvillea Blüten, traumhaft! Hier muss man sich noch etwas in Geduld üben bis die ganze Blütenpracht zu bewundern ist.

  10. Oh it is very hot there! If we have 30 C that is very hot for me. Such hot climate needs heat tolerating plants, as your gorgeous bougainvillea! Thank you for sharing your beautiful flowers.

  15. Greetings and Salutations! Cloudy skies will bring relief to the flowers in bloom from the heat. Hope it is a farmer's rain and not a pounding one. Our area is moving from Winter snow to rain and 40s but today it is suppose to be 80 degrees then back down to 40s and 50s next week. I so enjoyed seeing all your beautiful flowers. I long to see some soon in real life but this is good enough for now. Your photographs are wonderful!
