Winter mornings are usually always quiet,calm,dewy ,but when you  wake up to  some spectacular horizon at dawn  you can't restrict yourself  clicking just one snap

Chrysanthemums collection

Flowers that are celebrated for their beauty and intricate shapes and sizes are always being admired by Garden lovers.One of these flowers  are Chrysanthemums that are adored by everyone ,specially appreciated in our region to that extent that we have an annual Exhibition cum sale fair only for Chrysanthemums.

I have always admired them for long now and planted varieties of them in my garden ,Although this year I was able to grow  two varieties only

Breakout from cold



Last week we had experienced severe record breaking cold which was claimed to be coldest in last forty years with temperature dropping minimum to 34 F'.This week brought relief with rise in minimum that has stimulated some growth into winter  Annuals.                                                                                                                                                           
Although spring is a month or more away ,some of the annuals are coming out of winter hibernation to bloom in this month.                                                                                                        
     




Some of the petunias are showing there blooms ,Petunias here generally enjoy long blooming period upto early summer  days.

And Some harvest of fresh organic Tomatoes



If this   weather continues for another few days spring will be on time otherwise will delay ,either ways spring will be knocking in a month or so.

From my windowsill

                                            My garden has been never in deprive of visitors in form of birds and critters  ,Infact presence of them   makes garden lively.                           


These groups of Indian Myna has been regular visitor in my garden,with frolicking around all over the garden.
                                                                           





What a beautiful sky has formed into with those dense clouds arranging  looks like it would rain,If it rains the cold will intensify in upcoming days.
