Garden Affair : Summer turns pink

 The last Fortnite of May saw harsh summer with unbearable hot temperature but the sigh of relief came at the end of month with western disturbance bringing down the temperature and making weather cooler. 

Although  consistent  summer weather had detrimental effect on plants some of the hardy summer plants survives the heat waves and bloomed throughout the May .  

                                                  Zinnias are the main attraction in summer season

Summer Garden is incomplete without plumeria blooms. 

Pride of India aka Lagerstroemia blooms are like ornament for summer garden  

Adeniums are the best summer bloomers

It is bizarre in a positive way  that Garden in summer had been bestowed with summer blooms pink  dominating the summer blooms this season . While summer is known for its prominent white jasmine flowers this time pink blooms are dominating the summer garden.

Garden Affair : Pink prevalent in spring

 The early spring was anticipated when rise in temperature was seen in the first week of February .We are entering into the  third week of February and temperature has risen drastically which is unusual and alarming for spring this year . 

The only silver lining is early spring blooms it seems pink will dominate this spring 

                   Schzianthus is in prime of its blooms 

Snapdragon 

Clarkias are already blooming 

                Hibiscus have started blooming 

While it is exhilarating to experience spring after winters the early arrival of spring is sign of long exhausting intense summer period          coming in upcoming days .

Garden Affair : Pink Autumn

 Autumn weather brings cool breeze and the Garden prepares for welcoming winter , since we have mild winter the preparation for spring blooms is done in the Autumn till early winter. 

It is a bit of pleasant surprise in my Garden that the beginning of Autumn is ubiquitous  with presence of  pink blooms.
