Summer season which was started with consistent heat waves in the month of April was then subsided with weather change owing to  concurrent rains in the starting of May that brought down temperature which aided the blooms .

Bougainvillea blooms  are a boon for summer

  2. As always I enjoy seeing the blooms of plants I can't grow in my Northeast United State climate, like bougainvillea and peacock flower. I haven't grown the annual periwinkle (I think it's what we call annual vinca) but I know, in the hot Southeast part of our country, it does quite well in the summer.
