Monsoon has been satisfactory by far , thereby the first fortnight is here after monsoon plunged into the city. The dry and barren land is now covered with layer of greenery.
I am surprised to see color pattern change in this hibiscus with the arrival of monsoon
The fragrance is intoxicating of Arabian Jasmine
When buds are as good as Blossoms
Lilies are back into blooms
Water lilies adoring blooms
Rain Lilies enchanting blossoms after downpour
Plumeria season
When weeds are beautiful who would have heart for deadheading
It was surreal experience to spot Coots and Swamphen at the same place
Considering the monsoons, your plants look great! The Plumerias, Waterlilies, and Hibiscus (well, all the plants) are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty hibiscus. I love rainlilies. I have a few the sprinkler brings out! Not recently though, they must know it's too hot above ground!
ReplyDeleteLotus, rain lilies and Plumeria - I'm envious. I have both rain lilies and Plumeria in my garden but neither seem to be even considering blooming this year!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The lovely Plumerias remind me of my childhood in Cuba--we had a white one in our garden there. Wish you could send some of your rain our way to Virginia, in the U.S.A., we could use it.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful and your photos are stunning.
ReplyDeleteVisiting today from Anything Goes Linky 423 #3,4&5.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! #WaterThursday
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers!
ReplyDeleteDespite your weather, the flowers look great. I love the smell of Jasmine. Thank you for linking up.
ReplyDeleteYour total experience with nature sounds intoxicating. It has been raining here also, as a few of the many thunder storms that dot the area have passed over us. I always love rainy days, when nature comes alive, and the tree frogs are croaking again.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are fabulous to look at!
