The unforeseen late start to cold days this season and then persistent fog and smoke for more than a week had halted the outdoor activities, while onset of spring seems far away. The wonderful blooms of chrysanthemums and marigold are adding color to the garden in this pea - souper environent .
In our region its an old saying that we believe when a crow caws in morning at your roof it signifies arrival of guests .
Very pretty! I'll watch the crows closer now - but if they are crowing on the roof, I'll be most likely not able to see them.
ReplyDeletePretty shots! Here we have snow and ice on the ground - no flowers in sight!

ReplyDeleteWonderfull photos.
You make me so happy with flowers and colors. Thank you. The Germanic people, our ancestors, used to believe that crows signaled misfortune. Ooooh and visitors? When we spill sugar, we say: visitors are coming :-)
