And its raining ! I am glad blossoms are back after a long harsh summer . The canna lily is blooming after a long time , thanks to the monsoon.
Canna lilies are one of the easy to grow lilies that strive through harsh weather and bring blooms in the monsoon till autumn .

These lilies are also very beautiful. They were planted long ago along many a tree to brighten up the street.

Our Cannas did very well in Texas and New Mexico, but in Florida the leaf-rolling butterfly is quite common and although it mostly eats wild members of the canna family, it can be a serious pest in the garden.
