This summer is quite uncertain compared to previous year in fact this year has been by far filled with uncertainty and ambiguity that will be staying for some time more in the latter part of this year.
While we are experiencing Hot summer days in our region this time with unexpected western disturbances the usual scorching heat waves are being subsided by the advent of showers periodically in every week.
It has helped a lot for flowers to appear in otherwise colorless summer garden.

A sunbird spotted in the garden
I love visiting your garden, so different from mine. Thank you for sharing all that beauty.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of a sunbird until now! Wow, it's something! I've also never seen a hibiscus that color, or a neon carnation. Thank you for sharing such unusual, to me, things!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a neon carnation before. So many hot-loving flowers that are hard to grow in my region. I can grow portulaca though and it is coming up all over this year!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy visiting your garden each month. A lot of your flowers are similar to what we have in the Caribbean.
ReplyDeleteA sunbird (looks like a type of what we call hummingbird?) A neon carnation? Your garden is so different and yet you have some of the same things I can grow, like French marigolds. I would wilt in 30 degree C heat. (It's about 23 C where I live right now, with low humidity). But, I would never be able to grow jasmine. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
