The horrific summer is at its end , if the weather report is believed we could see rains in anytime the next two weeks. Meanwhile Texas Sage is blooming profusely in hot summer days.
Periwinkle plant is braving heat of summer and blooming in profusion
Portulaca is blooming after a long break and will be in full bloom after the arrival of monsoon;
Jasmine is the most summer friendly plant that blooms for the most part of summer and the fragrance of Jasmine makes it distinctive
Oh, I love the smell of Jasmine. Good to hear your hot dry summer is almost over for you. We are haven't even started summer yet here in Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteHow very lovely! Thank you for sharing. Aloha!
ReplyDeleteThat periwinkle plant is gorgeous! Happy Bloom Day (after)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bright sage! I had jasmine at my old house, it smells so nice.
ReplyDeleteThese are great photos of the black winged stilt, Arun. The bird is certainly looking forward to the monsoon like you and your plants. May it bring you the right amount of rain - not too much and not too little. In our latitudes there has recently been too much rain with severe flooding in parts of Germany and Austria. Most people in our village were lucky, in the neighboring village cellars were under water and trees fell on cars. Now we are looking forward to the summery, sunny weather next week. (Here too, I hope for not too much or too little sun. Let's see what climate change allows...)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes again, Traude
