Monsoon has been disappointing by far in our region . Although there is a month left for the monsoon season there is a possibility of revival of the rainy season in upcoming weeks. It is exciting time for the blooms as humid weather has made favorable conditions for the plants to bear flowers .
Gardenia is one of the most fragrant flower I have come across in the flora world. Although this plant resembles jasmine alike large blooms but it belongs to coffee family.
Gardenia care and Fertilization
Gardenia is a hardy plant that thrives in semi cool climate and likes to be fertilized once in a month t hat helps in the blooming throughout the year .

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry the monsoon was disappointing so far. In part, climate change is certainly responsible for this. In our neighboring country Germany there were bad storms with floods and destruction (but here it is summer and therefore the "dry season"...). I keep my fingers crossed that you still get good rain. The gardenia looks beautiful - I didn't know it is a "coffee plant family member".
