We are receiving heavy rainfall from last four days which has led to drop in temperatures to single digit simultaneously . Dombeya wallichi is the only shrub in my region that blooms in the coldest days of the year.
Its huge ball shaped pleasant smelling blooms attracts bees and butterflies.
It is the time for link up party Garden Affair where you can share posts related to Gardening , Nature and birds. The link up party will be open for a week starting from Saturday.
Those blooms are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThe blooms are lovely. Today is actually very nice after 2 weeks of horrendous storms. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteThey are huge. Haven't come across these flowers. Last evening, there was a scary thunderstorm with strong wind and thunder. Lots of rain with floods in low lying areas.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good plant to have.
ReplyDeleteThey are very beautiful flowers and one will have to plant them more so that we will receive more bees again. Because the number is getting fewer and fewer as the years go by.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! The color is one of my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this image from your garden, Arun!
Happy WW!
