Garden Affair : Weeds or Medicinal plant

Monsoon is  the only season that covers the entire city with green belt and while  greenery is eye pleasing and acts a fresh breath of air especially when Garden resurrect post summer when all colors are gone after dreadful summer heat .  It is evident that Monsoon brings back color but it can not be ignored the uncontrollable  growth of weeds in Garden after downpour.

In a Research through sources from internet it was surprising for me  to know some of the plants that grow wild like  weeds in my Garden had  medicinal benefits.

Bhumi amla or Gale of the wind

It is the most common weed grown after monsoon season. The weed that resembles closely with Amla fruit or Indian Gosse berry is a  medicinal plant  that helps in liver infections and all disorders related to Liver . It is used in making medicines which are also  beneficial for treating indigestion and kidney stones.

                                                                          Giloy Plant

This vine grows wild anywhere during or after monsoon with its heart shaped leaves which is packed with  its innumerable benefits to the body. The medicinal benefits starts from its anti inflammatory properties that helps body build its immune system and build up body's defence system to fight infections.

                                                                             Apamarga plant or Achyranthes

Aparmagha is a plant that grows wild in monsoon. It can be spotted everywhere and anywhere be it roads, parks or a Garden spaces.  It is used in Ayurveda in the form of oil which helps in ear ache. It has anti inflammatory properties that helps in fever.
