Spring that comes post monsoon

 Monsoon    has outperformed itself  this year as records of rainfall pertaining to   last decade has been broken this year in my region.

I am recommending this Life saver succulent plant to every fellow gardener who wants to grow succulent for the first time  at their respective  place if you don't see freezing temperature as it is one of the most hardy succulent in my Garden and those star fish alike blooms are stunner. 

                                                                          


Some summer bloomers that chose post monsoon over summer season due to temperature drop post monsoon   to flourish in their prime. 

                                                           






I am observing sudden increase in population of Myna Bird from quite some time now in my region. I recently found out that they are very adaptable in diverse habitats and their breed is well established in Indian Terrain  .

Monsoon Effect

 Monsoon Downpour has taken a halt the  weather has become moderate and pleasant. The monsoon rains and fall in temperature helps in resurgence of blooms in garden.  

             I had planted these cypress vines at the end of Summer season and after consistent  downpour of monsoon the vine has covered entire flower bed and with a monsoon break the blooms showed up in beautiful scarlet color. 



     Although  Vinca Plant is all year bloomer in my Garden its colors somehow pops more after the monsoon downpour. 



                                              Rain brings the Rain lilies back  into profusion of blooms.                                                                                                      



I await for Tecoma blooms after long summer months 

                                                                




Frangipani is one such perennial that has adapted our climate very well 

                                                                      



I saw this beauty first in the morning as I was heading towards my morning walk it was close enough to give me a shot after trying few times with mobile camera I was able to capture it in a still position

Monsoon glory

 Monsoon  has been extremely good this year , the constant precipitation had brought down temperature to moderation. The fresh blooms in my  garden has been eye pleasing. The array of colors in Garden will last now till the start of winter Season.

Garden Affair : Periwinkle

 Summer season is at utmost, where plants in my Garden are somehow ridden out Periwinkle is standing  out from the crowd. Periwinkle also known as Vinca is a hardy perennial that can withstand any condition  irrespective  of weather and variation in  temperature.   


                                                         



Periwinkle are easy to grow plants through dispersion of seeds. They are hybridized and cultivated in to many colors but commonly found in purplish pink color and can survive extreme summers to winters.                                                                                                                                                      
Periwinkle Care and Growth

Periwinkle or Vinca is a hardy plant that can survive drought conditions, It can be easily grown from seeds. The  well drained sandy soil is best for the growth of seeds. It can also be grown through stem cuttings in monsoon season.                                                                                                                 
Periwinkle leaves and flowers have medicinal value are used in various skin diseases, to control high blood pressure and diabetes.

Summertime Sunshine

 Summer season is ensuing with temperature hovering around 40 degree Celsius . Summer heat is scorching for the Garden which makes it miserable for plants to survive and flourish. 

While it is unbearable hot the hardy Summer blooming perennials are giving colors to the dry hot summer . 

                Summer Perennials blooms  throughout Summer and blooms lasts  on tree till the end of Monsoon season.

Autumn time

  

Autumn is slowly coming into progression after long monsoon phase has taken back seat this year. Although temperature for this season is on higher side which has lead to extended blooms of summer and monsoon season. 


                            Cypress vine is blooming after monsoon rains have passed .

Autumn season brings in end to blooms of Vinca, Hibiscus, Gomphrena, Plumbago and many other annuals and perennials.

This is fifth time in this year when inflorescence on my  mango tree has bloomed. 





Ruellia blooms are blooming  in full swing after rains. 


Aquatic blooms are usual to bloom in October

This Greater white fronted  Goose came up to me to give a pose before joining its fellow Geese .
