Breakout from cold

Last week we had experienced severe record breaking cold which was claimed to be coldest in last forty years with temperature dropping minimum to 34 F'.This week brought relief with rise in minimum that has stimulated some growth into winter  Annuals.
Although spring is a month or more away ,some of the annuals are coming out of winter hibernation to bloom in this month.

Some of the petunias are showing there blooms ,Petunias here generally enjoy long blooming period upto early summer  days.
