I am observing sudden increase in population of Myna Bird from quite some time now in my region. Hedge Flowering plants for Garden

Hedges are integral part of any Garden. While hedge are natural planting besides the wall that provides protection against winds , privacy, create a wildlife habitat in your garden.  Hedges which are created using  Flowering plants can actually add grace to the garden .

While there are many species of flowering plants that can be deployed for creating hedges and filling space near  boundary walls here are some of them which are hardy irrespective to weather and thus adds beauty to your garden.

                                                                Bougainvillea Flowers

Growing inverted Tomato plant in bottle

It is always a fun experience to grow your own veggies which are organically grown at your space. I have been growing all varieties of Tomatoes from past many years. This year I tried a very unique way of growing Tomatoes and I was fortunate to succeed in my first attempt.

I tried growing inverted Tomato plant in a Recyclable Plastic Water Bottle.

This is a old Plastic bottle whose base has been removed to fill the soil mixture

                                                                         A 1000ml  empty bottle

The base of bottle is removed for filling soil mixture

Tomato seedling inserted from the cap side

And after 2months the first tomatoes appear

Tomatoes ripened and ready to be harvested

Things to remember growing inverted Tomatoes plants in bottles

- Tomato seedling should be gently inserted in bottle without damaging root system of the plant
- Soil mixture should be light and fertilizer rich so that plant gets its strength and food adequately
- Watering should be done moderately when the plant requires it otherwise the plant will rot eventually.

The spring summer transition is always a happy time in the Garden as there is a freshness of leaves and flowers can be felt in the Garden

Indoor plants care and Maintenance

Indoor Plants are becoming popular these days for many reasons one of them being rapid increase in  urbanization .Growing Indoor plants in home is coming out to be  a good option for the Amateur Gardener who doesn't have much space for gardening .Indoor Plants doesn't require much space like big balconies, huge terraces or a big land  to grow plants and just require little space indoors in your home for bringing element of nature in your space.
These below are some of the indoor plants that I find easy to grow indoors with little care and fertilization.

                                                          Syngonium with Pothos

                                                                       Miniature Syngoniums

                                                                   Rubber Plant

                                                                   ZZ Plant

                                                   Indoor Plants care and maintenance

Indoor Plants are easy to grow and will  remain healthy  if they are kept at a place which receive morning sunlight . It should be kept in mind that Indoor plants should be watered with purified and filtered water when possible as they are sensitive with tap water which has effect upon the health of the plant.

It is advisable to keep plants kept indoors once in a week outside in the partial sun for acceleration of growth of leaves.

Meanwhile  the spring is knocking door with Mesembryanthemum  giving out blooms

                                                                   Mesembryanthemum

And the Mynas enjoying warmth in the weather

                                                                        Mynas
