Garden Affair : Autumn Harvest

Autumn Season is a transition season in my garden as winters will  be arriving shortly and monsoon season has  just  passed  thereby there is  drop in temperature consequently which is favorable for collecting harvest of summer and monsoon.

Harvest season in my region here in the Northern India  is observed  majorly two times in  a year i. e.  Spring and Autumn , the summer and monsoon grown are ready for harvest and are available  till the end of Autumn season.

Lemons are ready for harvest after prolonged monsoon season

Colocasia or Taro root is a  tuberous vegetable its leaves and tube is prepared to make delectable curry or even for snacks.

  4. That looks like a wonderful harvest, dear Arun – I'm so happy for you! In my garden, of the plants you mentioned, there were only tomatoes, but they were harvested three months ago. Now almost nothing is growing here anymore, and in some places, there's even snow...

    All the best, Traude
