While we Wait for monsoon

Summer days are finally coming to end there is a transition in weather .Although heat is still in its force ,the dry and arid climate continuity is broke by spell of rain from two days which I hope are pre monsoon showers .Monsoon is approaching towards our region and it is a sigh of relief for the garden .


                     
Garden is right now lacking its color due to absence of flowers but some flowers does bloomed after shower of two days.

  2. I've never seen yellow cosmos before. Only pink. Bougainvilla is certainly hearty.I don't know how many times ours came back from years with heavy frost. Hope all goes well for you during the monsoon.

    1. Yellow and orange cosmos are hardy annuals in our summer whereas pink and other cosmos which is popularly known as Mexican Aster are grown as annuals in winter .We are desperately waiting for Monsoon to drench our garden.

  8. Lacking in color? Just visit my garden in winter - the only color you'll see is the white of snow. But seriously, I have never witnessed a monsoon. I wish you rain and relief from that terrible heat soon. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. Summers in our part brings intensive heat waves with it which has detrimental effect on plants that may sometime lead them to die .Monsoon rains after summer season heals the wound and rejuvenate the garden .

  11. I have to grow Bougainvillea as a houseplant but it doesn't really thrive. Not enough light. Very envious of yours!

  12. Your garden blooms are beautiful despite the lack of rain. You are so fortunate to be able to grow Bougainvilla outside. It is grown as a annual here.

    1. our summers are with temperature hovering more then 40 degree celsius with scorching heat waves that is best suited for bougainvillea alike plants
