The winter season had been quite unpredictable so far with late start of winter season to extreme chilly weather persistent for weeks and if weather forecast is to be believed the cold waves will be continuing for more weeks.
While plants in my garden are seeing dormancy still some of the chrysanthemums are still blooming

ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see Asiatic Lily blooming in January. We are in full winter mode here with temperatures in the 30’s today, but the Hellebores are blooming away!

Chrysanthemums and lilies at the same time! I can't grow the first and the second probably won't make an appearance here until May or later. It's interesting to see that coots migrate through your part of the world too - I haven't seen any here since my college days in Santa Barbara.
