Monsoon season is almost coming to an end and weather is still between hot & humid and some close to being cooler in morning . While it is n apt weather for flowers to bloom many summer annual blooms are at their last blooming stage. Gomphrenas are one of the widely grown summer annuals in our region .
The tiny gomphrena flowers are attractive and mainly grown in two colors purple and purplish white .
Gomphrena growing and care
Gomphrena are easy to grow from seeds and bloom profusely within a period of two months starting from sowing seeds. They are hardy blooms and remain blooming for a number of days on plant.
Dried flowers of gomphrena are used to making attractive garlands .
It is the time for link up party Garden Affair where you can share posts related to Gardening, Nature and birds. The link up party will remain open for a week starting from Saturday.
