I have been travelling these days to the hills to get a break from the scorching heat from summer and humdrum in the city . I recently got opportunity to visit a sacred place in the hills of Uttrakhand and I was astounded with the beauty of Nature in the region. I was fortunate to spot Iris blooms

Just lovely. Curious if the nature is in abundance because it is sacred land (so no development and people don't pick the flowers etc) or it's sacred because it was such a lovely spot in the first place?
