Growing Lawn and care

Lawn is one of the essential part of the garden as it enhances the beauty of garden.  Lawn   is essential to the garden as it adds grace and compliments to the plants and trees growing in the  garden. It is true that due to urbanization concept of developing lawn has decreased due to unavailability of space required for growing and maintaining lawn.

Growing Lawn and care

Lawn is easy to maintain if your garden receive ample sunlight for the most part of the day .

It is important to note that new  lawn grass needs good care for the first year and when the roots get developed and when grass spreads  the entire area of lawn it only needs good sunlight , water and periodical fertilizer for the healthy and sturdy growth.

It should be noted that for spreading and growing grass it should be cut back to small size on regular intervals with providing manure every month in the first year of plantation which helps in healthy growth of Grass.

How to remove weeds and fertilizing lawn

It is important to keep removing weeds and cleaning up the lawn space to promote healthier growth of  grass . It is good decision to apply good quality approved herbicide periodically to help get rid of weeds timely without it effecting your grass .

  7. I have only a small patch of lawn in my garden, all other places are planted with shrubs and perennials. Every summer I weed dandelionds, hundreds of them! Wishing you a bright and sunny weekend.

  12. Hello, Your bird is a male Stone-chat, we see plenty over here in Portugal. I would love to have a lovely lawn, but we get tons of moss over large areas, and I can't do gardening any more, so it just takes care of itself, as all my plants do.

  14. Yes, a lawn has become a luxury for most living in the city. We have a huge tree, which gives shade for more than half of the backyard.Do not want to cut the limbs, because it gets so hot here in the summer, because its shadow also keeps part of the house cooler. A pretty little bird, and lovely flower. Would call tat a watercolor sky! Thank you for sharing these tender details with All Seasons. Enjoy your week, Jesh
