Garden Affair : Amaryllis

 The spring season is in full swing and the Garden is filled with exuberant colorful blooms. It is a good coincidence that I am writing a post about the Colorful Amaryllis Flower on the occasion of  Holi which happens to be festival of colors celebrated in the  spring.

    Amaryllis are wonderful flowers. Here in Austria they are unfortunately not garden plants, only indoor plants. Some amaryllis start to bloom exactly at Christmas, which is a great colorful joy in December. Our amaryllis is a bit unconventional and mostly flowers in July ...
    I also brought some "Holi-colored" spring flowers for your linkup :-)

    Wunderschöne Blüten....leider ist die Blütezeit nur sehr kurz
    und dann muss man wieder ein Jahr warten auf eine neue Blüte.

    I love amaryllis a lot. I have planted and coaxed the bulbs to bloom before. Quite a fun to do. Sadly, most of the bulbs have disappeared from my garden now. So thank you for sharing these gorgeous blooms here, they have great colours!

    Healthy and gorgeous Amaryllis from your garden. Mine haven't flowered for a long time but at last, this morning I noticed a bud coming out from the ground.
