Lovely Autumn

After a long hit and miss monsoon weather ,we can feel the breeze of autumn in our place.Garden is filled with riot of colors .

Plumeria pudica or Wild plumeria is a longtime blomming with cheerful white flowers emerging from spoon shaped leaves

Vinca has been native plant in our environment for its heat bearing capacity. This dark vinca is hybrid specie .

Another drought tolerant plant ,perfect for our atmostphere Jatropha plant twinkles bright in sunshine.

Dwarf Dahlia blooming is indication of  advent of Autumn

Hibiscus ,the Hawaiin  variety are becoming my favourites for the blooms that are spectacular

It has been good favorable weather for Tithonia  for long summer days have supplied constant blooms

Butterfly Pea has adopted my garden very well and given many more plants probably due to easy dispersion of seeds freely

When we talk about self seeders, Four o clock grows like a weed  in garden and I have no heart to pluck them off  due to there easy no care growing capability, of course beautiful blooms

Dianthus starts blooming with fall in temperature.

Gaillardias are garden friends for my region ,they thrive through long summer and blooms in winter too.

Since autumn is best time to prepare your garden for spring blooms and winter vegetables ,its time to start sowing seeds of flowers and vegetables. In the next post I ll try to discuss easy germination of winter flower seeds .

Happy Gardening !

  1. Happy autumn Arun! Spring has just begun here in South America. Plumerias are very hardy plants and they don't mind extreme heat at all also hibiscus are really easy to grow here I have many of them. Have a great weekend!

  2. Although I have no idea how it must be to experience that types of weather, I do like your photo's a lot. Wonderful blooming in bright colors, I can totally imagine that you feel lots of joy with them.

    Have a splendid ♥-warming ABC-Wednes-day / -week

  3. Beautiful flowers - I love plumeria. It's fall here and no more flowers on my plumeria. It's losing its leaves and will go dormant in October.

  4. I love your neon pink flowers. Think they fit so well into your hot climate. Th white plumeria is also a beauty.Have a nice day!

  5. I love white flowers. That's a beautiful plumeria. Wishing you a good day!

  6. I imagine the scent of plumeria, mmmmmmmm. I want to grow all the gorgeous flowers you've shared in our yard. We have 4-o'clock flowers growing wildly around our yard, too. I let them be as well.

  7. Pretty blooms! The first one we call kalachuchi in my part of the world.

  8. Lots of beautiful flowers. Mine are just about done with the limited sunlight and cool weather coming. - Margy
