May 20th is considered to be world bee day .This day is important to raise awareness about existence of bees in world . Bees play an important role in ecological balance and maintain biodiversity in environment.
Why does presence of Bees matter to humans
Bees are the prominent pollinators that help in production of food for almost 1/3rd population of world. Bees as pollinators play vital role in existence of some of the plant species in the world as they help in regrowth of plants.
The decline in bees especially in pollinating season like spring has been alarming . I had already talked in detail how Absence of bees in spring in my Garden was alarming this year.
The simple steps taken by humankind of depleting use of harmful pesticides, preserving natural habitats for nesting can be a major contribution to preserving existing of bees.

Bees truly are tiny heroes of our ecosystem.
