Monsoon has been good so far with satisfactory downpour and thereafter temperature has been fallen down after good monsoon.
Today is Raksha bandhan festival. Raksha Bandhan Festival is a Hindu festival that embodies family values and filial responsibility. A festival that strengthens relationship between Brother and Sister. Raksha bandhan literally means bond of protection where a small bracelet made out of thread is tied by sister on brothers hand in gratitude of protecting them.
Meanwhile Garden is seeing new blooms Crinum lily is unfurling petals after Rains had taken a halt .

ReplyDeleteI think a festival like the Raksha Bandhan Festival is very good for strengthening family ties. I'm just wondering whether the brother shouldn't give his sister a little gift, too. Because there are definitely female values for which men can show gratitude to their sisters... (Or is there another festival?)

Yes, I wondered about the reverse too. Often it;'s the sister doing all the work for the brother (looking after and protecting) especially if they are older....
