Garden Affair : Poppies

 Spring season has finally begin in our region . I am glad I have planted poppies this year and they are already putting up a spring show in garden .

         Poppies are easy to grow annuals that can be grown with seeds .  Poppies Flower are classified into many varieties based upon  distinctive colors and appearance .                                                              

                                                           

They are cool weather loving plants that usually bloom from early Spring to early summer in our region.

Arrival of Spring

 Weather is truly unpredictable , it was chilly weather just a week back and now we can experience the arrival of spring. Although it is just the beginning of spring there is a lot  blooming in my garden currently .

Garden Affair : Spring is knocking

Garden Affair : Basant Panchami

 Today is auspicious day of Basant Panchami which embarks the arrival of spring season. Basant panchami is celebrated at the end of  winter season and on this day Goddess Saraswati is worshipped who is considered God of knowledge.
