Spring is knocking

The beginning of February saw a rise in temperature with slight presence of Winter chills, the dormancy in plants is broken as we can observe the formation of buds promising early arrival of spring season this year.

Roses are back on arrival of   Rose Day

Geranium buds are as beautiful as blossoms

An Adenium blooming in early spring is quite surprising

                                               Buds appearing on common hibiscus

Four  o'clock blooms  breaks from the dormancy

The warming up of first week of February is alarming as it makes us realize that concept of Global warming is actual  reality while the only silver lining is we can observe early blooms of spring flowers.

I was fortunate to spot black Drongo on the outskirts of city

  7. I enjoyed your blooms, roses, especially, as we won't have them until late May. Nothing here but snow. I haven't grown four o clocks in years and they sometimes would overwinter. Lovely bird. I read up on the black drongo, which we do not have here in the Northeasts United States. Our blackbirds should be arriving in the next week with their beautiful trills. I can't wait for this early sign of spring. Alana rambinwitham.blogspot.com

  10. Spring is arriving earlier each year here in coastal Southern California too. I don't have any roses in bloom, though! Great bird pic!
